Regulations Research Refresher Online

In this one-hour group tutorial, review the fundamentals of regulations research with one of our law librarians. Topics covered include a walkthrough of the regulation-making process at both the Ontario and Federal levels, an introduction to a variety of practical, time-saving research tools, and a live demonstration of typical regulation research tasks like:

  • tracing the amendment history of a regulation
  • searching the Canada/Ontario Gazette
  • strategies for discovering legislative intent

We will also review the use of print and online sources such as e-Laws, Justice Laws, Canada/Ontario Gazettes, and HeinOnline.
